Father, I thank you for so quickly answering my prayers to you. You know that I have been overwhelmed, and under spiritual attack; however, you promised that you would never leave me nor forsake me, and that what the enemy intends for evil, you intend for good. I asked for your help, and you gave it to me... so quickly, and I thank you and praise you!

Last night in my Bible reading, you brought me the following scriptures:

Father, I love how you use your Word to remind me that you were with me as I breathed you throughout the day. You listened as I sang "Spirit of the Sovereign God"  by Lindell Cooley as I sought you as I drove.

The Year of the LORD's Favor
The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,
because the LORD has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners, [a]
to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the LORD
for the display of his splendor.
They will rebuild the ancient ruins
and restore the places long devastated;
they will renew the ruined cities
that have been devastated for generations.
Isaiah 61:1-4

You saw as I stared mesmerized at the flames I saw as I drove, and told me with these scriptures:
For Zion's sake I will not keep silent,
for Jerusalem's sake I will not remain quiet,
till her righteousness shines out like the dawn,
her salvation like a blazing torch.
Isaiah 62:1

As when fire sets twigs ablaze
and causes water to boil,
come down to make your name known to your enemies
and cause the nations to quake before you!
Isaiah 64:2

You reminded me about the one person in my life who still causes grief, and not to be fooled by sweet talk and open myself up for hurt with:

A malicious man disguises himself with his lips,
but in his heart he harbors deceit.
Though his speech is charming, do not believe him,
for seven abominations fill his heart.
His malice may be concealed by deception,
but his wickedness will be exposed in the assembly.
Proverbs 26:24-26

You guided me that in order to overcome this spiritual battle, that yes, I do need to let go, but most of all I need to spend more time in prayer. You filled my mouth with these words, and had me read them for confirmation just moments later:

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Ephesians 6:12-13

The lesson for the day in my Bible was be "Diligent in Prayer". It said, "Our day begins early and ends late. The hours are long, and we hope that as our heads hit the pillow we can say we gave our best. In the midst of our busyness, God expects us to be alert and pray. The apostle Paul tells us to "never stop praying." We are to be in constant communication with the heavenly Father.... No matter how busy we are, prayer needs to be a priority."

You echoed my prayers with these scriptures:

being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Philippians 1:6

Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved—and that by God. For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for him, since you are going through the same struggle you saw I had, and now hear that I still have.
Philippians 1:27-30

I thank you Father, for always listening to little me, and caring so much about this wayward daughter of yours. I praise your holy name and Iove you!
